Broadway Girl, 2015 16.1 1/2 liver chestnut filly

Located at a farm next to the Finger Lakes Race Track, Farmington, NY (near Rochester)
As they brought Broadway Girl out of her stall for photos, her handler and her groom both kept raving about  how sweet she is — she is one of their favorites! And she sure is pretty, with her blaze and white socks and dark mane. She has an uphill build, a good topline, strong shoulder, and solid bone. Since she is only three and still growing, she is probably going to be one big girl by the time she is fully mature. Broadway Girl is described as a horse that just loves to love and be loved, and who settles right into the farm life. She was certainly very friendly and interested in us for her photo session, and was very accommodating of our photographer’s constant requests to move her just a bit this way and that way.  She has an old set osselet on her right ankle, and we were told that she has been racing on it with no issues.  Broadway Girl showed a light springy trot for her video, even though she had to jog indoors on a frigid day when it was not feasible to let the horses really trot out.  She is lightly raced, with one win and 5 top three finishes in 9 starts. Her pedigree is excellent. She is by promising young sire Jimmy Creed, a son of top sire Distorted Humor. She is out of a stakes producing mare by Unbridled’s Song, and her second dam is a graded stakes winner by Citidancer who is a son of Dixieland Band. This pedigree makes her an excellent broodmare prospect, in addition to her potential for sporting disciplines.
