Ginger Al, 2016 15.3 -16h chestnut gelding

Located on a farm near the Finger Lakes Race track, Farmington NY
Do you want a gorgeous and beautiful moving sweetheart of a TB who looks like a warmblood,  is unraced, sound and clean legged, is going to finish growing into a big horse, and has a great sport horse pedigree? Well then step up for the fabulous Ginger Al, a son of Big Brown out a mare who is a Two Punch granddaughter. Ginger Al does have one race and several published workouts, so he is fully RRP eligible under their current rules. His trainer says he loves to work and tries hard, but while he is athletic, he is slow, and she does not think he is going to have any racing talent.  She says he is very smart, and very good and responsive to ride — she is also the person who gallops him. She described him as a beautiful mover, and when we saw him trot for his video we certainly agreed with her assessment — he floats with great reach. She also describes him as a people lover cuddlebug, and she hopes he goes to a home that will love on him.  He turns out alone or with other horses, ships well (He has often shipped to other tracks for his workouts), stands quietly to be groomed and for clipping and mane pulling. We observed this first hand, as he quietly tolerated having burdocks pulled out of his mane and forelock to get ready for his photos. Ginger Al has unlimited top level sport horse potential — fancy enough for the show hunters, and with the build, pedigree and movement to excel in dressage or eventing as well.
