Update: It is with great sadness that we report the untimely demise of this wonderful, much loved horse. He took a bad step in a race on August 16, broke down and had to be euthanized on the track. RIP gallant soul.
Big strong guy with great sport horse potential. Inger’s owner/trainer raved about what a great horse he is – a pleasure to handle and ride, great work ethic, very sound, good feet, an easy keeper. Inger has been a very good race horse, winning at the allowance level on the New York circuit, and is just shy of $200,000 in earnings. He cost over $50,000 as a yearling and two year old. He is still running well this year, and he will keep racing while he looks for a great new home where he can be trained for a new career. This horse has been good to his connections, and they want to list him now to give him time to find a new home before the end of the meet. Step up for this big solid sound guy and you will be well rewarded with a great horse.
