The Moocher is aptly named, according to his connections, as he does not love to run, but prefers to sleep and mooch treats off of his humans! Moocher never raced, and hasn’t had a published work this year, as he was just too slow. The race world’s loss is definitely the sport horse world’s gain! This guy reported to have no vices, is super sweet, and very easy to work around, and with no known injuries. At the farm last year, he lives out, and he enjoyed his turnout time.
Despite the awful weather outside, Moocher was more than happy to show off his thick build. He stood happily while we photographed him and gushed over how adorable he was. His handler warned us that he may be a bit up as he hasn’t done much in the last month. While he was a bit distracted and unhappy about the pouring rain, he remained respectful of his handler. He showed off his relaxed, natural over track at the walk and his natural suspension at the jog.
Moocher is by Majestic City and is out of a Street Boss mare with Ghostzapper lines who are all sought after as their babies tend to be levelheaded and trainable. Moocher seems to be no exception! Take this cute boy home and he will be happy to compete in any arena or to just takes naps and eat peppermints!
