This almost black beauty is beautifully bred, by AP Indy’s successful young son A P Warrior, out of a Storm Bird mare who is a Secretariat granddaughter. She is ready to move on to a new career because she is just too slow to be a successful race horse. We admired her very pretty good looks, well balanced conformation and sloping shoulder. Her trainer says she has cold tight legs and no soundness issues. She has the right size and spunk for polo, or for many sporting endeavors. With her pedigree she might also make a nice broodmare. It was stormy and windy when we took her photographs, and she had done nothing but hand walk for a while, so her energy level was very high (hence the lip chain). Under these bad weather conditions we could not get a video, but we will try to get one on another track visit.
