Double Roar is a five year old, gorgeous dappled dark bay gelding with a great shoulder and a nice top line. This big boy is an extremely well balanced, good boned, and sound horse with no vices. We were struck by his adorable white socks on two opposite legs and by his friendly demeanor. Roar is lightly raced and his trainer, who describes him as “very kind,” wants to retire him sound. Lots of potential here and a perfect candidate for any discipline. Great extension, stunning gaits. This remarkable horse is only available for personal inspection at the Finger Lakes Race Track until the first week in September for a day or two after he races on September 3rd. After that he will be going to his owner/breeder’s farm in Dutchess County NY closer to NYC, and you will be able to see him there.
