Hubba Hubba, what a solid bodied classy and handsome guy!  Fourseventeen is very well put together, with good bone and a large frame and barrel, so he will take up the leg of a taller rider.  His groom raved about what a good boy he is, and she said if she could have her own horse, he would be the one she would want.  His trainer also confirmed that he is a great horse to ride and to work around., and she said he is very sound  She recommends an experienced rider, because he is a solid and strong boy. She wants to find him a great new home and a new career, since he runs mostly on the turf and synthetic surfaces, and the season is now over at Presque Isle, the regional synthetic track, and Finger Lakes is not his preferred surface.  He had raced just two days before we took his photos, plus had endured a long van ride to and from Presque isle, and he certainly still looked fresh and happy, with no residual stiffness.  We took his photos at a farm just down the road from the Finger Lakes Race Track, where he lives in between races.  But it was not the best place for a jog video, since there was only a short rutted path between the barn and paddocks, and we had to cope with horses turned out in nearby paddocks bucking and running up to check out their buddy, and a kitten that kept darting around Fourseventeen’s legs. Despite all this, he behaved well, and we saw glimpses of very nice movement with suspension and reach.  This horse struck us a very athletic and durable horse with great potential for many disciplines.
An excellent home is essential, and references will be required and checked.
