“Wally” is a homebred who is much loved by this owner/trainer and her family. Wally has a sweet, in-your-pocket, disposition and has never offered to kick, bite or put a foot wrong. This lovely fellow has simply never had a bad day with people.Wally is an imposing fellow, standing a true 17 hh with a substantial body. His owner/trainer/rider describes him as well balanced and able to carry a rider effortlessly.
Wally has a front suspensory injury that is not going to hold up to racing. His vet has ultrasounded the suspensory and is confident that with 3 months of rehab (e.g. controlled turnout such as in a round pen, hand walking, etc.) he will be ready to go on with his training, including jumping. Wally jogged sound for us, as you can see in his video.
We left this boy after much oohing and aahing and scritches, eager for the right someone to scoop up a truly spectacular-and special-horse.
