Lucuma 2013 15.2 ch mare

The lucuma is known as a “super food” which has many health benefits. Perhaps an equine Lucuma in your life will be good for your mental health! Lucuma has never been raced although she is registered with The Jockey Club. Her owner relays that she had re-bowed her left front tendon at the beginning of the meet and has been rehabbing in the shedrow since. A complete history of this injury can be reviewed with the owner/trainer who feels that she is ready to start training in another discipline not as rigorous as racing. Lucuma has a thick, blocky build and is referred to as a tank by her connections. Our volunteers admired her solid stature, she also impressed us with her workmanlike demeanor. While she wasn’t overly affectionate, she looked to her handler for instruction and did what was asked of her. She is reportedly good to work around and without stable vices. Lucuma was barefoot on the morning of her pictures and she can benefit from a visit from your farrier  to clean up her hooves.
