Lupicaia 2011 15.3 h liver chestnut filly: Now at FLTAP

Update: As of July 27, 2015, Lupicaia has been moved into the Finger Lakes TB Adoption Program’s Purple Haze Center, located on the grounds of the Finger Lakes Race Track in Farmington, NY. She is available for adoption through FLTAP to approved homes with references, and under the FLTAP adoption contract.

Affectionately named Lucy by her doting trainer, this very pretty, well balanced and still growing girl has earned a slew of superlatives from her owner/trainer with the notable exception of “great racehorse”! She has endorsements from her riders as a wonderful horse to gallop with easy lead changes and a willingness to please. She is a classic morning glory with great morning training success which doesn’t transition to racing. After tweaking equipment, riders and raceday routine, Lucy”s trainer has decided that she is better suited to other disciplines.

In the morning sun Lucy was quiet and sweet. She loves attention from people in her barn and was noted to be an agreeable filly, just an all-around good egg. She has a very nice shoulder and clean, sound legs and a gleaming, true liver chestnut coat.

She turns out well with others and is very happy hanging out with the herd at the trainer’s farm.

Lucy is by the exciting sport sire Raffie’s Majesty out of a Fusaichi Pegasus mare and we can see her succeeding in just about any discipline.
