How can you not love a horse named Magooby — especially when it’s  beautiful, sweet, and a lovely mover, as this chunky girl surely is!  Magooby has a very compact, solid build, shines with dappled good health, and showed off a floaty trot with flowing flat kneed action.  The trainer’s daughter, who is the person to contact, says that Magooby  is sound with no vices, an absolute sweetheart both in the stall and on the track, and has a great personality.  She describes her as very trustworthy, won’t try to bite or kick-, and her kids’ favorite horse because Magooby is the only horse she trusts they’ll be ok around. She emphasizes that whoever gets her will love her! Magooby’s groom seconded these endorsements, telling us what a great personality the filly has, and now nice she is to handle.  Magooby is ready to find her new career because she is not competitive in the tougher competition level she is now eligible for.  With her build and size and bargain price, we think polo players should jump all over her, but we can also see her as a lovely show hunter or dressage mount for an adult or kid.  Given her very solid build, she will take up a lot more leg than her wither height might indicate. She has an intriguing pedigree for sport/jumping disciplines. Her sire, Patriot Act, is a son of AP Indy, out of a dam from the Copelan/Susan’s Girl/Tri Jet/Quadrangle bloodlines developed by the Hooper family.  Her dam is from the Unbridled/Fappiano sire line, with A dam form the Damascus sire line.
