We admired this handsome boy’s dark chestnut, dappled coat, and we could still see the dapples under a budding winter coat.. He had just run the day before we photographed him and he was light on his feet and sound. His connections report that he is a happy horse with a good personality who is very well behaved both on and off the track. They also state that he never gets bandages because he is very sound and has no leg issues and doesn’t need them. They are confident he will succeed in any sport, and we agree — he has the athleticism, soundness, and honest hard trying brain to be a great sport horse. He is a good and honest racehorse, with two wins this year; overall, out of his 40 lifetime starts he has managed to hit the board 50% of the time, which is the hallmark of a consistent, hardy horse who goes out and does their job and comes home safe and sound. He has now truly run out of conditions and is ready to move on. He boasts a pretty head with a kind eye and, indeed, he was very quiet and polite during his interview. He also showed off well balanced light movement. Big, sound, bargain priced, handsome gelding with great sporting potential — he ticks a lot of boxes. Don’t wait to call on this bargain beauty.
