The group collectively ooed and ahhed over this adorable filly as soon as she stepped out of the barn. She has been hanging out on a farm since February and apparently hasn’t missed too many meals based on the girth of her barrel! Her handler explained that, as she understood it, she was raced at NYRA (rather miserably, based on her race record) and during her last race, she pulled a muscle in her groin and was put on a farm to rehab and refresh. The farm owner has subsequently suffered a health setback and she was brought in to the track, but has not been in training. During her photo shoot she impressed us with her stocky build (even without the belly, which will shrink with training) and exceptionally quiet and sweet demeanor. Who wouldn’t want this lovely, kind face greeting you in the barn every day? If that isn’t enough to entice prospective buyers, her jog video should seal the deal. She has lovely movement with suspension and cadence that will turn heads wherever she goes. This lovely youngster has had plenty of letdown, is now sound and is ready to get into some slow work as she continues to mature.
