Reya Soup, 2013 15.3h chestnut filly

This flaxen maned beauty is such a sweetheart — we watched as she licked at her trainer’s arm and hand and enjoyed the pats and cuddles he gave her. She is so flashy, with her caramel colored coat, blonde mane and tail, and big white blaze. With only one start it is clear that racing is not her game, but oh my does she have great potential for so many other disciplines! She is a daughter of Alphabet Soup, who is much coveted as a sport horse sire, and his offspring are known to be late maturing, athletic, good jumpers with good brains. She is described as completely sound, and her legs are clean and tight. Her trainer says she is an easy keeper, good to work with, and a friendly girl.  She showed very nice balanced movement for her jog video, although she was a bit fresh from lack of recent work. After a small bout of exuberance, she politely came right back to a polite jog for her trainer. We can see her as a fantastic children’s or adult hunter, but she also looks like a great prospect for barrels, polo, or western pleasure. And of course, as an Alphabet Soup daughter, out of a mare from the Gone West and Halo lines,  eventing should be right up her alley. In other words, choose your direction for this pretty girl!
