How could you resist a mare named Sharp and Witty?  Aren’t those just the qualities that all girls possess? This pretty girl whose close up relatives include Distorted Humor and Dixieland Band (indicating great sport potential) was such a pleasant lady on this very cold and windy day.  It was very evident that she just wanted to snuggle with her trainer to block the wind and stay warm.  Sharpandwitty has a decent race record, hitting the board in 9 of her 33 races.  She showed beautiful movement in her jog video, which had our volunteers and shoppers ooohing and ahhhing in the background.  On a day that had many horses feeling extra “high”  Sharpandwitty was very polite and quiet showing a good natured disposition.  Her trainer states that she is sound on old osselets that have held up to race training for some time and will surely hold up to any new discipline. She is reported to have no vices. This kindhearted racemare is the perfect age to start her new career and has the potential to be brought along by a child or amateur under the watchful eye of a trainer.
