Tall, dark, and handsome!  Stay Tuned has been a good racehorse for his connections earning over $152,000 in his 35 starts with 5 wins, 6 seconds, and 4 thirds-almost 50% in the money starts which speaks to his big heart and athleticism.  Although he had one win this meet, he is slowing down and showing his connections that he is ready to move on to a slower paced discipline.  Our volunteers loved his big, thick build.  He has a natural top line and sloping shoulder.  We could see him being a fabulous dressage horse!  His trainer reports that he is good to work with and he wishes he could keep him, but he has too many horses to winter this year.  Don’t be deterred that he is still a stallion, a “brain surgery” (or gelding procedure) is a very simple and inexpensive procedure that can fix that in no time!  Finger Lakes Finest offers a gelding incentive program and we will contribute to the cost of the procedure if provided with a receipt from the veterinarian.  He did not exhibit any stud like behaviors while we were with him, instead he was a perfect gentleman and stood quietly and respectfully during our photo shoot.  He very much enjoyed the attention from our volunteers and especially loved our mints.  Stay Tuned has some racetrack ankle jewelry.  We think with a gelding procedure, some turnout time, and elbow grease, this guy will be absolutely spectacular.  Another fabulous option for RRP 2018!  He is by Fusaichi Pegasus out of a Dixie Union mare.
