Stone ’em 2012 15.3+ bay gelding

Update Nov. 21, 2015:  After winning two races recently, Stone Em’s owner has now decided that it is time to move him on to a new career, and thus has adjusted the price.  Stone ‘Em is now ready to find his new home!

We were promised cute and we weren’t disappointed! While we were waiting for his handler to arrive we started cuddling on the face that was hanging out of the stall because we couldn’t resist his adorableness. We were delighted to learn that he was the horse we were photographing!  Stone’em is a well bred son of Bustin Stones out of a Freud mare, so he sports a great sporting pedigree. With only two lifetime starts, his trainer knew that he didn’t have the chops to be competitive on the track and, being a big stable with many other competitive horses, he has chosen to stop on him (and I think his handler easily persuaded the boss that he would be highly desirable in other disciplines). He is lightly raced and is sound with tight, clean legs. His handler states that he is easy to work around and doesn’t have a mean bone in his body, with an agreeable personality and, indeed, he gave kisses while we visited in his stall.  Out of his stall he posed like a supermodel (he must know how adorable he is!) and was generally a doll with just one froggy moment when he got happy. Although he isn’t in race training, he is going to the track to jog everyday to keep him moving and sane. He is beautifully put together and still butt high, so will likely top out over 16 hands.

Don’t dilly dally on this guy with the off-the-charts cuteness quotient!

Price $3000
