Catch My Breath, 2016 16.1h chestnut filly with chrome

Located at Finger Lakes Race Track, Farmington, NY (near Rochester).  This gorgeous flashy girl is affectionately known as “Catch.” We admired Catch for her substance, good looks, and kind eye as she stood quietly to be groomed in her stall, as her handler extolled her many virtues. She said that Catch is “just awesome,” an  adorable good girl, always a happy horse who enjoys her job and her peppermints. She said that Catch is so striking when she is happily trotting and galloping along on the track, that she is a favorite of many people at the track. Catch is very solid bodied, and is going to grow some more and will mature into an impressive physical specimen that could easily pass for a warmblood.  She is sound, clean legged, and has no vices.  Catch is lightly raced, with 10 starts, 6 of them this year. She has 1 win and three placings, but her connections know that she will find greater success in a new show or sporting career off the track.  We saw Catch only two days after she had raced, and she was still full of energy, happy to show off out in the cold.  She was stepping a bit high behind right after the race, but we watched videos of some of her earlier races, and saw lovely movement, a balanced and flowing gallop and canter.  She is by Heavy Breathing, who is by Giant’s Causeway and is a full brother to Frost Giant, a very popular sport horse sire. Her dam is by Langfuhr, a Danzig son is is popular as a sport horse sire, known for great brained, sound and durable horses. We placed a Heavy Breathing son last fall who quickly turned into a show hunter star, taking a junior rider to top ribbons at major shows in Canada.  We see a similarly successful sporting career for Catch!  So don’s wait to call quickly if you want to be the lucky person to Catch this rising show horse star!
