We loved this sweet, sleepy boy with the pretty forelock. We first caught him tucked up contentedly napping in his stall. As his trainer entered, he quietly got to his feet, stood patiently as he received a quick once over to flick off some shavings from his coat, and politely walked outside like a total gentleman. In the sunlight his solid bay coat took on a golden sheen: we noticed he has just a dusting of chrome on both of his hind coronets /heels. Classic elegance in any show ring!

We were told that he is “great in his stall” and is really “good about everything”. And that’s what exactly what we observed. He was cooperative as the volunteers set up for photos- super sweet, politely-friendly, and he seemed to enjoy the attention. He strikes us as having an ammy-friendly brain and would probably enjoy being someone’s special steady-eddy partner.

He’s super cute with an adorable face and is nicely put together with short-coupled, well-balanced proportions. We liked how he stands up with his hind-end tucked underneath him. Efficiently athletic. He jogged quietly and politely on a loose lead without a chain, displaying cute, springy, and relaxed movement. He remained happy, chill, and agreeable throughout his photos and video.

Lightly raced, with only four (rather lackluster) starts, he’s a pretty much a blank slate that you could take in many directions. By Galilean (Uncle Mo / Indian Charlie) out of a Yes Its True mare, with Sadler Wells/ El Prado and Gone West also appearing in his pedigree, he has a nice breeding to be your next sport horse prospect! He’s just too slow (and chill) to be a racehorse. Only three, he is likely to grow a tad more and he certainly has some filling out yet to do; this sweet and lovely boy right now will be stunning dude in the future. We’re confident that he will be much loved in his next career. If you are looking for a super chill, easy-going, lightly-raced, young gelding- here he is!

If sweet, easy, and laid back all wrapped up in a fancy package sounds like what you are looking for, then Twisted Banker is the horse for you! This quiet boy had been gelded a week prior to our volunteer meeting him but he never knew he was a “boy”. He was only gelded as his connections knew that would make him easier to place. And as they always say: a good colt makes a GREAT gelding.

Twist hung out unbothered by literally anything going on around him during his photo shoot. He did come to his connections needing just a bit of weight and gelding him didn’t help, but just imagine how this horse will shine with a bit of groceries and some down time! For his jog video he happily jogged lazily next to his handler. Under saddle he is much the same, warming up without a pony and just jogs along like a show horse. We added a short clip from his last race so you can really see his lofty, fancy movement. He is reported to be injury and vice free. He did have tie back surgery, and he has raced afterwards and does not make a noise, so he should not have any disciplinary limitations.

Twisted Banker is by favorite New York sire, Central Banker and is out of a Discreet Cat mare with Empire Maker also on the bottom. This pedigree suggests exactly what he is: a kind, trainable guy with loads of potential and great movement! This horse is ready to be an amateur dream horse in any discipline of choice!

Peeling Out is a gelding that will certainly stand out in just about any post track career! This flashy, fancy boy is as nice to be around as he is good looking!  Over and over his connections kept saying that he was an “easy, good boy”.  He is currently owned by his breeder, and she absolutely adores him, so when his trainer said he just wasn’t showing any talent in racing, they both decided to let him go find a new career that he will certainly shine in.

Peeling Out is reported to not have any vices, is easy to have in the barn, and eats really well.  He certainly enjoyed the attention of our volunteer and his handlers as he tried to craw right into a pocket or two.  For his photo shoot, he was far more interested in the treats he was offered than standing up to model and yet he still showed off his glossy coat and conformation.  For his jog video he was polite and listened to his handler, only being jogged with the lead connected under his halter.  He showed off his happy, toe-pointing trot. Peeling out is reported to be good to ride on the track and to have no previous injuries.

Peeling Out is by the popular sire Freud, known to throw athletic offspring who are very good jumpers with loads of personality.  He is out of a Maria’s Mon mare, a much sought after sire for good jumping sport horses, with Montbrook also close up, known for quality movement and brains. Peeling Out is ready to peel out of race life and walk into any other career!

If you are looking for a sweet, kind, certified good boy then look no further than Pauper King! King’s connections just couldn’t say enough good things about him.  In his stall, our volunteer was able to snuggle him and see for herself what a nice boy King is.  He is reported to have no vices and to be very nice to have in the barn.

He is reported to be very good to ride.  He will warm up on his own before the race but also ponies well.  His trainer reports that he trains like a champion but just has no speed in the races and he is ready to let this gem of a horse find a career he would prefer.  He is reported to be sound with no previous injuries.

For his photo shoot he modeled his thick, short coupled body happily.  He enjoyed the attention from our volunteer and his handlers.  He was respectful for his jog video, only having the lead attached under the halter. He demonstrated a natural over track and the walk and a flat-kneed lofty jog.  Pauper King is by King for a Day who is by Uncle Mo, whose offspring are desired for their excellent brains and movement, and his dam side boats Wildcat Shoes and Notebook, both also known for their ammy friendly brains and trainability.  This horse is the entire package do not let him pass you by.

Her name says it all… she is a lotta cuteness and athleticism in a sporty compact pretty package. Our volunteers thought she is adorable, and we think that her obvious athleticism and catlike quickness will suit her well in many new disciplines — polo, barrel racing, jumping. She has a nicely balanced compact build with a strong sloping shoulder, and we observed clean legs. Her handler said she is sound and has not had any issues and that she has no vices. He said that while she can be feisty, she is friendly. She would be best for an experienced person who knows how to let down and restart OTTBs who can appreciate her spunky athleticism and channel it into a new discipline. Like most OTTBs, once she is off the track and enjoying turn out, she is likely to settle down. She Jogged politely and showed light and springy nice movement. She has accumulated a decent racing record, with three wins, six seconds, and four thirds in 22 starts, but now that she has to face a tougher level of competition she hasn’t fared as well, so her connections would like to let her move on to a new career while she is still young and sound. She has raced this year so she is fully eligible for the 2026 or the 2027 RRP. She is sired by Bustin Stones, a son of City Zip who produces athletic quick offspring who have gone on to do well in many disciplines from barrel racing to jumping. Her dam, Crazy Cat Lady, is a stakes placed daughter of Freud — another sire known for offspring who are athletic and good jumpers.

If a petite, pint-sized princess is on your list then look no further than Bust My Chops! This sweet girl has all the heart and try but her little legs are too short to keep up, according to her connections.  She is reported to have no vices and to be very easy to have in the barn.  Our volunteers were able to see first-hand exactly how sweet she was as when we brought her out, she’d much rather snuggle her handler than worry about anything else.

She is reported to be fine to gallop with no funny business, she’s just too small to be competitive.  She is reported to have no prior injuries.  For her photo shoot, she stood up as though she desired to be the most perfect showmanship pony.  For her jog video, though she may have been a bit up as at the time she had only been walking, she still remained respectful of her handler and was able to show off her flat kneed, toe-pointing trot.  Now, she has been taped at 14.2, but please keep in mind that the tapes are not always super accurate and that she is only 3. So while she is technically a pony now, she may not stay that way.

Bust My Chops is by Bustin Stones, a popular NY sire known for his athletic, well moving offspring and is out of a Cosmonaut mare with Lemon Drop Kid lines. While she is definitely Polo sized, we can also see this adorable, sweet thing go in any direction.  Don’t let this flashy little girl pass you by!

Kittridge is a young, lightly raced dark bay beauty. Her connections could not say enough about how sweet this young lady is, and she is reported to be even sweeter at home.  She is reported to have no vices, is great to have in the barn, and is even better on the farm. She turns out well with others.

For her photo shoot, Kitt was ready to crawl into her handler’s pocket looking for treats.  She is reported to be good to ride.  Kitt came back from her last race a little sore in her right knee, so she had x-rays done and a spur was found in the upper joint.  She is reported to come sound after a bit of rest, but her connections think she deserves some time off and a less intensive job than racing.  For her jog video she was uncharacteristically up, but she still showed off her fancy, lofty jog.

Kittridge is by the highly desirable Mission Impazible, offspring sought after for their gorgeous movement and very amateur friendly brains.  She is out of a Don’t Get Mad mare, who has Stephen Got Even lines, also known for their excellent brains.  Don’t miss out on a gorgeous, lightly raced filly that would shine in any arena.

You know you’ve got a special horse when not only is she a trainer favorite, but she is a favorite of the trainer’s children, and Big City Dreamer is just that.  Dreamer is so sweet and kind in her stall and at the farm that their son is frequently found with her.  She is reported to have no vices, to be easy to have in the barn.  She turns out well with others.

Dreamer is one of those “doesn’t look like a thoroughbred” thoroughbreds.  Her connections affectionately call her a “tank”.  On the track, all that can be said for her is that she is SLOW, so slow, in fact, that she unfortunately doesn’t even have a published work. She is reported to be a straightforward ride and to have no prior injuries.  For her jog video she showed off her casual and laid-back nature as she took some encouraging to move forward.  Once she did, though, she showed off her steady, flat-kneed jog.

Dreamer is by Big Brown, a favorite for offspring with jumping ability and their amateur friendly brains.  She is out of a Relato Del Gato mare, who has Tale of the Cat lines, known for their athletic ability. Big City Dreamer is an amateur dream horse that is ready to become someone’s heart horse

She is reported to be good to ride on the track, with no bad habits.  She is reported to be sound with clean, tight legs, and no prior injuries. Queen Isla is by King for a Day who is by Uncle Mo, who’s offspring are sought after for their movement, jumping ability and good brains. She is out of a Street Cry mare, and Street Cry is well known for horses with excellent jumping and sport horse potential.  Queen Isla is nearly a blank slate just waiting for her new career.  Don’t let this one get away!
