Here’s your chance to own a Smarty Jones baby at a bargain price!  Hollywood Jones is a blank slate.  Although he has had race training, his training times are too slow to continue on as a race horse.  His trainer would like him to move on to a new career where he will be more successful.  For now, he is enjoying time at the farm getting turned out.  He is totally sound, let down, and ready to start training! This girl has been golden on the racetrack, with a most impressive 12 wins, and 26 in the money finishes in her 50 start career. With few racing conditions left for her, she is retiring from racing sound and with no injuries during her successful racing career.  We admired her solid bodied athletic build,  her flashy chrome, and her adorable and distinctive white spot on her rump hear her tail.  She showed  very good balanced movement for her jog video. What a perfect name for a horse to bring home during the holiday season!  This girl has a beautiful head which is not easily depicted in pictures.  Even on a very cold, gloomy day her shiny dappled coat was evident during her photo shoot.  She was very quiet and polite despite the sleet coming down on her at times while we stood outside her barn.  Regifting has a gorgeous, correct build.  Although she may be just under 16h, she has a very thick bone structure with a big belly on her that will fill up a taller rider’s leg.  Her trainer said she is very nice to work with and has no vices.  She also reports she has never had any soundness issues and we saw nice clean legs.  When her trainer was taking her blanket off and brushing her, a horsey friend next door was causing quite the ruckus and Regifting was totally unphased which makes us think she is a pretty easy natured girl.  Her trainer reports that Regifting is the only horse of her owner and she is very special to him.  She reports that he will want her to go to an exceptional home where she is loved and pampered.  For this reason, references will be checked.  Once the track closes, Regifting will move to her trainer’s farm just down the road from the Finger Lakes Race Track.  She can be seen there by appointment.  It is a very short and worthwhile drive!  Regifting would be a wonderful RRP 2017 horse and her connections would love to see her compete there!

This pretty girl impressed us with her solid bodied uphill build and her big shoulder and strong chest– her looks shout jumping potential!  Her groom says she is sound as a dollar and very good to handle.  She won a few races last year, but is not as competitive in the tougher race conditions she now must compete in, so it is time to find her a new career.  She posed politely for her photos, and jogged nicely for one of our volunteers. She showed off very pretty movement, light, with suspension, and a toe pointing trot.  We can see her doing well as a show hunter, in eventing, or dressage. She is by Utopia, and we have placed several of his offspring into new homes where they are showing aptitude for jumping and dressage.
