Splashed with lots of white, this girl is one gorgeous horse! She has been with her trainer since they broke her as a yearling, so you can get her whole history of excellent care.  She is described as sound, and her legs are clean. After winning two races, she is finding the next level of competition  a bit too tough, and so her owner wants to let her find a new career where she can make a splash!  Splashy Rise has very good balanced conformation with a strong shoulder and deep girth, and she has roaning throughout her red coat.  She is a lovely mover, with loft and reach to her trot– and we saw her only 2 days after she raced. Her trainer thinks she is an outstanding show hunter prospect, and we agree with the assessment!  The trainer describes Splashy as a “typical chestnut mare — you have to do things her way.”  The trainer said this is true more on the ground than while riding her — she says Splashy is very nice to ride and willing to please under saddle once she understands what you want her to do.  She also says that when Splashy is at the farm and not in race training, she is less aloof and very pleasant to work around.  Splashy Rise is from a great jumping sire line — she’s a daughter of Frost Giant, who is a son of Giant’s Causeway. Her dam is by Precise End, from the Forty Niner sire line, out of a mare from the Blushing Groom sire line.
