If you like your horses in the solid black category, look at Jake! Of course he’s registered dark bay, but he’s on the extreme end of that. Jake stands about 16-16.1 hh and impressed us as an extremely athletic and springy guy. At five years old, he’s starting to fade on the racetrack and his trainer would prefer to retire him before going into his six year old year. He is described as kind and easy to work with.
