Utopia has raced up and down the eastern seaboard since the start of her career but has been with her current connections at Finger Lakes for several years. They have a lot of affection for her and want to find a perfect home where she can live her next, best life. Don’t let her age deter you: she is a testament to the durability of a well conformed, sound thoroughbred who has many years of life and adventures ahead of her. We admired Utopia’s beautiful head and “wise old soul”, kind eye. She has tight cold legs that have carried her over the track in 74 lifetime races and she remains sane and sound. She has notched 9 wins, 15 seconds and 15 thirds, meaning she has better than 50% in the money finishes and over $184K in earnings. The handler’s significant other rode her in her last race and said she skips effortlessly over the surface and is a joy to ride. We watched slack jawed when she moved out for her jog video with such light, balanced and lofty movement that we oohed and aahed and agreed that it has contributed to her longevity as a racehorse. This is one nice mare!
