Update 12/15/12: He is on a farm near the Finger Lakes Race Track for the winter, where you could have a trial ride. He very much needs a forever home!
We couldn’t help but notice this flashy guy as we walked the backside. His look-at-me demeanor pulled us right in. His trainer says this fellow is a true racehorse who knows his job. She said he is one of the soundest horses she has ever had who is smart, classy and friendly. He has been a really solid performer and has needed very little time off with being so sound. Intense in a race, she says she just hacks him around afterward. They often go barn to barn on a long rein just to visit with everyone to cool out.. She said he has a lot of pride, really loves to please and just loves having a job to do. She feels he would be a really great competition horse or even into fox hunting.
