As you might guess by her name, this pretty and very leggy girl is a daughter of the popular Big Brown. We were told that this filly is friendly and affectionate with her handlers, well-behaved, and “doesn’t do a thing wrong” whether under tack or in her stall. And, during our session, we observed her to be very sweet, professional, and ladylike. She was amenable to posing for us and we thought she was a polite, girly-girl who appreciated affection and especially loved getting scritches from us. We think that she might have been happy to stand there all day! We think that Stella will appreciate being doted on with massages, plenty of scritches, and lots of grooming time!

Stella has a pretty, feminine face attached to a long, elegant neck. She has nice depth through her body and gives the impression of having uphill balance. She does have a scar on her right forearm- we were informed that it was from a pasture fence incident that happened as a yearling but once it healed, we were told that it has never bothered her or affected her soundness.

She moved out quietly for her handler displaying a relaxed, swinging walk with an overstep and jogged politely and respectfully, with floaty, efficient, flat-knee movement much as you would expect from such a leggy girl.

Her current connections said that they claimed her late last year, and although they are fond of her, she hasn’t proven to be much of a racehorse. So, they’ve decided to move her along knowing that such a nice girl should find much greater success in her second career.

Stella is by Big Brown out of a Bluegrass Cat mare with Roberto and Unbridled / Fappiano also appearing in her pedigree. This sweet and pretty filly enjoys being loved on- so if you are someone who enjoys pampering your ponies with ‘spa’ days, this might be your girl. And just think how fun that it will be to yell “Stella!” when you go out into the paddock.
