Big, gorgeous, grey lovers, take note of the eye-catching Eddie!  With his movement and uphill build we see elegant dressage in his future. His trainer describes him as very sweet, good to handle, and a total treat hound – as you can see in his photos as they fed him mints.  He is also a guy with lots of energy who will benefit from an experienced rider.  He was a bit frisky for his video, since there was commotion from horses loading nearby, but he displayed breathtaking suspension, elevation, and rhythm to his movement, suggesting to us that he will make a stunning dressage horse.  We could almost visualize the piaffe in there.  Eddie was a very good race horse in New York, but after his last race a year and a half ago he hurt his ankle and had surgery. Earlier this summer they sent him to his current trainer at Finger Lakes, who says he is sound now but is concerned that with his size he will not hold up for racing without injections and medication. He does not want to do that to him, because he sees so much potential for a less strenuous career.  Eddie also has an excellent sport pedigree; his sire, Judge TC, is a grandson of In Reality and Secretariat,  and his dam is by Two Punch.
