Pulled out from his stall into the bright morning sun, Ricky’s “newly
minted copper penny” coat was almost blinding. We were slack jawed at
his beauty and quiet nature. We have it on good authority that this
boy is as wise and classy as they come and is a perfect gentleman all
around, and is quieter and more sensible than many geldings. His trainer says he is sound with legs that are “clean as a whistle.” He was very laid back for his jog video, but it is apparent that he is a beautiful mover with a floaty trot with nice reach and he tracks up well. We also watched some race videos, and saw a big stride with a balanced fluid gallop. His owner will geld him, and once this gem gelded we think you will have an exceptional show horse prospect. This stunning fellow deserves serious consideration.
