It’s not often that we get to see such a big, handsome gelding who is
solid black! (Make note, he is registered dark bay but truly looks
black.) With 2 wins this year and almost $100,000 in lifetime
earnings, the owner/trainer is anxious to find him a good home in
another discipline. He raves about his wonderful personality and quiet
demeanor. While we were taking his pics and finding more and more
reasons to love him, he posed quietly and moved in politely when
offered mints. He is described as sound and we certainly witnessed
clean legs and to-die-for movement. The trainer told us that Cat
breezed yesterday and there was no evidence of stiffness or soreness.
His trainer states that he rarely wears bandages because he rarely
needs them. This boy, folks, is a sound horse with plenty of miles
left in him.

For his jog video, we had to suppress our excitement: wow, what a
beautiful mover! At the walk he demonstrates a big stride with an
overstep and at the jog he demonstrates fluid, floaty movement that
must be a dream to ride. We think this guy has tremendous potential as
an eventer, show hunter or dressage mount and will be surprised if he
doesn’t get snapped up quickly.
