Darling Beth is oh so pretty with her big white blaze and black spots on her hind white socks — she will certainly catch the judge’s eye in the show ring!  And her trainer says she is a total sweetheart, which certainly looked to be true to us as we watched her nuzzle with him.  After 11 starts without a win, he thinks it is time to let Beth find a discipline where her good looks and sweet personality will carry her further than they do in racing.  Beth was very friendly and seemed to love the attention we gave her.  She had just had her shoes pulled, awaiting an upcoming date with the farrier, so we will have to wait to get a video of her.  She comes from a black type rich stellar female family — the same female family as Unbridled’s Song — so she should be of interest to breeders. Her first four dams are all stakes winners, and her third dam is a full sister to Trolley Song, who produced the great Unbridled’s Song. This is also the same direct female family of the sire of California Chrome.
