This very cute and friendly gelding came off the walker for us to admire and cuddle him.  He was so mellow he already acted like a kid’s pony!  He stood quietly while all of the mud was washed off of him for his pictures, and all he wanted to do was  get close enough to the volunteers for scratches- even after he discovered there were no mints involved!  We admired his balanced build and clean legs, and he jogged quietly, and looks like a cute mover. The trainer states Adriatic doesn’t try very hard on the track, but is a champion eater, in fact that was the only “vice” that he could come up with-that he eats too much, and doesn’t race very hard. Sounds perfect for a trail buddy, future lesson horse, or just someone’s best friend. He is very well bred, out of a stakes winning and producing daughter of the great Spectacular Bid.
