This young hunk of eye candy with chrome is regally bred, sound, and has unlimited potential for sporting disciplines.  Alpha Go is a son of champion Tiznow, from the Relaunch/In Reality sire line, and Tiznow is turning out to be an excellent sire of jumpers. His dam is a daughter of turf star Stormy Atlantic, and she is a full sister to multiple graded stakes winners.  But Alpha Go has not raced up to his pedigree, with no on the board finishes in 7 starts. So his trainer has decided it is time to let this sound young guy find a discipline for which he is better suited –and we think the sky is the limit is sporting disciplines for this one!    Alpha Go was recently gelded, and his handler described him as a horse who is still young physically and mentally, and needs time to finish maturing.  Because he is so young, strong, big, and still developing focus  and maturity, he will be best suited for experienced riders with experience bringing young TBs along.  His breeding is for running long on the turf, and that translates particularly well to eventing.  Alpha Go was well behaved for his photo session, and he trotted politely, showing good suspension and balance.  If you are looking for an upper level prospect for jumping, eventing, or dressage, we advise calling quickly:  young horses this flashy and sound, with such a great pedigree and sporting potential, are much sought after!
