Always For You, 2010 15.3h bay gelding

This very well put together horse is a kind and hard trying all around good guy, who was much doted on by his owner at the track, who was a groom.  Always for You has very correct balanced conformation, an uphill build, strong shoulder, a kind eye and an equally kind personality.  He was a stakes placed runner as a two year old, and he’s a half brother to a stakes winner, so there is quality and athletic ability here for sure! He has held up  through regular racing, and his legs looked clean.  He showed nice movement for his jog video, trotting so politely on a long loose lead, tracking up well from behind, with good reach to his trot.  He is by Suave, a son of AP Indy, out of a mare by Danzig’s son Belong to Me.  Shortly after we photographed him at the track, he went to a new owner who has moved him to a farm near the track, where she will start some  basic retraining while he is awaiting a new home.  She tells us that on Nov. 30, he had his first off the track ride, in a rubber D bit, and very quietly walked, trotted, and cantered on a loose rein. She says he stood quietly at the mounting block, and was a   joy to ride and work with.  She says he would be perfect for a teen who wants to  pamper him and dote on him, and that he could even be suitable for an advanced beginner/intermediate rider who has a trainer to work with.

Price: $800 negotiable, will go up with more retraining
