Amy’s Spirit, 2010, 16h, Chestnut Mare

This sweet mare has an interesting story. She has been in race training with her current connections for a while, but they have been unable to get the necessary paperwork to actually race from the stallion’s connections.  They were hoping to get that settled this year, but it is not looking hopeful, so it looks like this pretty girl will never hit the races.  In the meantime, she has been the barn pet while still training.  She never needs a chain on her leadrope, is always quiet, and good natured.  Her trainer reports she is very easy to work around and would even make a good horse for a child or amateur to bring along with assistance.  She has no vices.  She has a clean legs and is a blank slate to start your way!  Her trainer would really like to keep in touch with whoever purchases her and receive updates.  She has become a member of the family in this barn and a good home is essential.  We were unable to get a video today, but our volunteers (who have followed her for quite some time) can attest that she is a nice mover with good suspension and reach.  We will try to attain a video when we are at the track next time. She is a stocky girl with a solid build.  Combined with her height, she will fill up the leg of even the tallest riders.
