This pretty, blaze-faced mare was sweet and ladylike, standing quietly for photos without protest as she shivered in the cold. Our volunteers can attest that this one is fully “peppermint-broke”! She was friendly and described as being great to work around. She’s sound but just not competitive enough in her current conditions; and her connections are downsizing for winter. Which presents a wonderful opportunity for you! We noted her solid, deep body and powerful hind quarters. She jogged soundly and we observed fluid movement with a flashy, toe flicking trot and airy suspension. This lady has a respectable race record in her 23 starts of 4-4-5 (57% on the boards with earnings over $49,000) which speaks to her solid work ethic. This mare has some popular sport sires in her pedigree; she’s by Leroidesaimu (with Blushing Groom and Roberto influences) out of a Victory Gallop mare (with Cryptoclearance / Fappiano, Hoist the Flag, and Saint Ballado /Halo in her pedigree). We think this cute, lovely-moving mare could do well in a variety of different disciplines. She’s at a great age to transition into a new career and will be a reliable and hard-working partner for many, many years to come.
