Arella Princess is a statuesque Kentucky bred mare who ran 31 or her 32 starts in Florida at Gulfstream Park. Over her lifetime on the racerack she has proven to be a good earner, with 5 wins, 4 seconds and 4 thirds. Her only start here at Finger Lakes was a win on 6/28/18, during which she apparently sustained a shoulder injury that has prevented her from returning to racing. The handler for this horse had limited information about her history and was somewhat vague about what is going on with her shoulder, however, her track veterinarian should be able to provide more insight. Arella Princess is a well bred girl by Limehouse (Grand Slam/Dixieland Band mare) out of a Boston Harbor mare. She has a thick build with a very soft, kind eye. Her connections are ready to call it a day and we think that, with rehab, turnout and TLC, this lovely mare has potential, perhaps as a dressage mount or lower level competitor.
