Keeping with the theme of the day, out of the barn walked a pretty dark bay filly with a sweet face and easygoing personality. Ask started her career on the NYRA circuit and detoured to Timonium to break her maiden last year. She has notched one more win and her connections are pulling the plug instead of bringing her back for another year. Her handler reports that she is polite in her stall and on the ground, is good to ride and has no vices (other than mugging for mints!). Like many horses on the backside, she stands quietly and politely in the wash rack crossties. Ask would benefit from some turnout and some body work when she transitions off the track.
