Anyone in the market for “Tall, Dark and Handsome?” Atomium could just be your next partner! This statuesque Kentucky bred youngster has been lightly raced with only 8 lifetime starts. He managed to break his maiden on 9/21 of this year and his connections recognize that going through his conditions will likely be an exercise in futility: clearly not all Kentucky bred thoroughbreds are going to be successful racehorses! He is by Latent Heat out of a Distorted Humor mare. He is reported to be sound with clean legs. He was a bit “up” from the blustery weather we experienced in Western New York yesterday, but still remained respectful of his handler. We could see him being a fabulous eventing horse! His trainer reports that he has no stall vices. Atomium is in beautiful condition, excellent weight and dappled. He checks the boxes for quite a few people so we feel he may sell quickly. His trainer may be willing to do a “package deal” on some of his stablemates too, so gather up your horse shopping friends!
