B J’s Valentine, 2014 16.1h chestnut filly

Described by her groom as a snuggly sweetheart, BJ sure did win our hearts with her dressage diva movement! When we asked the handler to jog her for a video, BJ produced a passage- like trot with the elevation, collection, cadence, and light float that should excite upper level dressage riders.  We have rarely seen this quality of elevated, lofty and cadenced movement from a TB in race training. She is a NY bred, and the NY Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association offers a $5,000 prize to the top finishing NY bred at the RRP — so scoop up this bargain priced beauty, and rock the dressage competition at the 2019 RRP while we all cheer you on!  BJ has shown no racing ability, and she has yet to hit the board in 11 starts, at 6 different tracks.  We think that with her spectacular movement, her talents definitely lie in a discipline other than racing. Her handler says she is a good girl with no vices, although she has sensitive thin skin, so you have to brush her gently.  She is sound and clean legged, and has a strong shoulder and uphill build that is desirable for dressage or eventing.  She is still growing, and her leggy frame has not yet fully filled out, but she is going to be quite the looker when it does. She is by Bob and John, a son of Seeking the Gold out of a Deputy Minister mare.  Her dam, Sneaky Valentine, is by Snuck in, from the Buckpasser sire line. She has the great Buckpasser — known for stout, sound, athletic horses — in both her sire line and dam line.  To get this quality of movement at such a bargain price is a rare opportunity — call fast if you want to scoop up this exciting sport horse prospect!
