Baime is much loved by his connections and it is important that he goes to caretakers who will give him the future he so richly deserves. Baime has been relatively lightly raced, running in Stakes or allowance races exclusively. Out of his 32 lifetime starts he has multiple Stakes placed finishes and many allowance wins, with 10 wins and 25 total in-the-money finishes, totaling $221,000 in earnings. That is a remarkable record for any horse, at any level, and his owner/trainer is grateful for what Baime has accomplished for him. His owner/trainer is very fond of Baime and has chosen to stop on him after his left front tendon developed some thickening. He has not been raced this year and he is not unsound on his left front. Baime’s contact person had nothing but superlatives to describe Baime’s classy personality and been-there-done-that attitude. He has wonderful ground manners and is unflappable in any situation, even while jogging for his video in an indoor with a downpour on a metal roof.
