Beating the Blues, 2015 16h+ dark bay gelding

This handsome, unraced and still growing young gelding is a half brother to Happy Again, and he offers all the attributes of his sibling:  solid bodied good looks, very nice movement, excellent manners, a kind personality, and unlimited potential for a sport horse career. Blues is sound and clean legged but isn’t showing enough talent  for racing, and his owner realizes he would be better for another discipline.  Blues has spent a lot of time at his owner’s farm, where he turns out well in a group and has been exposed to farm equipment, other animals, and has just calmly taken it all in.  The handler who showed Blues to us says he has excellent manners and acts like he has been well schooled with a good foundation.  Beating the Blues is by Encaustic, who is a son of Broad Brush out of a Stop the Music mare.  His dam is a granddaughter of Seattle Slew and Dixieland Band.  These are excellent sport horse bloodlines. Beating the Blues presents an exciting opportunity to get a young unraced horse who is a blank slate to restart your own way for the discipline of your choice.
