Benny’s trainer stopped us and asked us to stop in to take his pictures hoping for a rehab home. Benny sustained a recent tendon injury which has been ultrasounded and whose images are available for review by your veterinarian. Benny is a solid, handsome boy who had a decent race record with 4 wins and 6 thirds in his 29 lifetime starts. Benny had just been bathed and walked when he was pulled out into the bright sun and heat of an oppressively hot morning. We were impressed with his quiet, kind manner and, although he does have a tendon injury, he walked sound and will benefit from careful rest and rehab which his trainer is more than happy to discuss with his new owner. He also told us that he is willing to take Benny back if for whatever reason the placement doesn’t work out. Benny is sired by Eskenderaya (Giant’s Causeway) out of a Wild Again mare. We think he will be a very desirable partner, well worth the time, when he is fully healed.
