Blue Cherokee, 2010, 17h bay gelding: retained for racing

Blue Cherokee needs a new home ASAP!  The track has closed and Blue Cherokee was supposed to go to Puerto Rico to continue racing.  The trainer taking him could not afford the shipping and Blue Cherokee was left without a backup plan.  He is located at a farm very close to the Finger Lakes Race Track in Farmington, NY and can be seen by appointment there.  His trainer reports that this boy is a real catch and that he has been stick measured at 17h.  He has a huge thick build and with his big poofy mane, almost looks like an overgrown pony!  His trainer reports he is sound to flex and jog on cold, hard old osselets which do not bother him at all.  He is confident and professional when on the track, always eager to get out and work.  He can be strong but never naughty.  He has a great personality and is cuddly in his stall.  His handler reports he has a great brain, is smart, level headed, not at all nervous and has no bad habits!  She reports he stands well for the vet, farrier, and grooms.  He walks right on the trailer and ships like a pro!  All of his connections love him and are confident his next family will love him just as much!  This is another perfect RRP prospect!  Please note:  due to the extremely icy conditions in Western NY, there was no safe way for horse or handler to take outside pictures and videos.  All the pictures and videos we have are posted.  You can watch old race videos for additional footage.
