Bob is a big, adorable guy whose connections refer to him as their gentle giant and it’s an appellation that is certainly deserved. Bob’s connections adore him and it was apparent as he quietly posed on the road for his photos, never putting a foot out of place. We noted his thick, solid build and nicely balanced conformation. His trainer reports that he has no vices, is sound (he is entered to race on Tuesday 11/13 so you can watch his race live or replays after) and is very gentle and kind. He showed very nice, light movement at the jog, so this big boy is remarkably light on his feet. Our usual enticement mints were lost on Bob who much prefers carrots and had some waiting for him in his feed tub when he returned to his stall. Bob spent most of his career at Penn National and changed venues to Finger Lakes in June of this year. He has notched 4 career wins out of 29 starts with 6 seconds and 1 third, so he has been a useful earner for his connections. Bob is by Utopia out of a Way West mare.
