The volunteers were happily surprised with the quality of all the horses listed on this sunny Saturday morning, and this lovely guy was another beauty added to the roster of beauties! Cat Squad has been lovingly cared for and is being offered now after his trainer decided that he is done with racing, although he has been very successful on the track with 5 wins, 11 seconds and 8 thirds from 51 starts. He has been wintered on his local farm, is good in turnout with other horses and loves turnout on the farm. The owner/trainer describes Cat Squad as sound and a Curious George type of horse, always aware of his surroundings and wants to know what is going on around him. He loves his peppermints and attention. The trainer stopped on him a couple weeks ago so he was up for her photo shoot and, again, has a looky-lou personality. We loved his cute movement at the jog and think he would be a good candidate for just about any discipline that would take advantage of his lovely movement.
