Chapa Rita, 2009 15.3h dark bay mare

Another dappled dark beauty with a kind soulful eye, Chapa Rita is so solidly built she could fool people into thinking she is a Quarter horse. Her trainer says she is a very friendly people horse who loves attention and treats.  Sounds like she will be easy to love and spoil in a great new home!  Chapa Rita is also described as a very easy keeper, quiet, with no vices, and sound. Her trainer says she has a very old, long ago set osselet on one ankle, but it hasn’t bothered her at all in years.  This beautiful mare is ready to find a new home and career because racing makes her too nervous and she just isn’t into it anymore. She is described as very calm in everything  — in training, around the barn — but a race.  Her trainer thinks Chapa Rita would make a great barrel horse, because she is very quick and agile.  She posed like a star for her photos, and showed her friendly attention seeking nature when she was just sure that our camera was a big peppermint.  For her jog video she demonstrated that she is a very nice mover.
