Charlie’s Love, 2012 15.2h bay filly

Breeders take note, this pretty young filly has a spectacular pedigree, full of graded black type!  You will be hard pressed to find a mare with this quality pedigree for such a bargain price.  Charlie’s Love is by the recently deceased super sire Indian Charlie, and the fact that she is from his last crop (she was bred on a $70,000 stud fee!) only adds to her value. She is a half sister to a graded stakes winner, and her stakes producing dam is a daughter of multiple grade 1 wining mare Chaposa Springs. Her third dam is an international champion and multiple grade 1 producer.  Despite her stellar breeding, it is evident from her only two races that racing is not Charlie’s Love’s game.  Her legs are very clean, and her trainer says she is very sound and gallops well. But she does have an elevated sacroiliac area on her right side, perhaps from slipping and falling when she was a baby. This produced what looked to us like a slightly uneven step behind when she trotted for her video.  She had raced the day before her photo session. Chiropractic adjustment could help her a lot.   This very pretty, well proportioned filly, who is still growing, has no limitations, and could do anything. But we think that her pedigree makes her especially attractive as a broodmare, and it will certainly qualify her for a date to top Kentucky stallions.
