“Chase” as she is lovingly referred to by her current connections, is described as an overall delight to be around. Her trainer, who has had Chase since she was 3, told us she is probably the nicest filly/mare he has ever worked with. She is reported to be great to ride and handle with a lovely temperament and no vices. Her connections could not find enough flattering words to describe her. Even with her winter furries coming in, we could see gorgeous dapples throughout her coat. She was super polite during her photo shoot and jog video, despite tarps flapping in the wind behind her. She had nice movement which appeared huntery to our volunteers, but surely she could go in many different directions. Finding the perfect home is very important to Chase’s connections. They are known for being very honest and taking exceptional care of their horses and are overall lovely trainers to work with. Despite her racing name, Chase has been a decent racehorse earning over $66,000 in her 34 starts with 4 wins, 3 seconds, and 5 thirds. This year, she has not been as competitive and is showing her connections that she is ready to slow down and move onto a new career. She will be RRP eligible for 2023.
