Chasing Moonlight, 2008 16.2h dark bay gelding

This very handsome and solid bodied guy has been a successful racehorse, making over $160,000 in his career, with over 50% on the board finishes in 33 starts, which is relatively lightly raced for a six year old. With this record, he is obviously athletic and big hearted, with a great work ethic! He is described as a very calm and sweet boy, with no vices. His jog video shows good balanced movement. A son of the great sire Grand Slam, whose offspring are known for their intelligence, athleticism, great brains and work ethics — we know several people who have Grand Slam babies competing successfully in eventing and the hunter/jumper ring. He definitely deserves a great home! He had tie back surgery when he was younger, but raced well after it and does not have breathing issues.  The assistant to his trainer also says he has an old rounded ankle that he may need a little more time off on. Give this big handsome athlete that time, and we think he can then succeed in many new disciplines.
