Chocolate Frosting, 2016 16.1h dark bay filly

Yum yum — who doesn’t love chocolate frosting, especially when it comes in the form of such a beautiful young filly who happens to be a daughter of everyone’s favorite sport horse sire, Frost Giant? Hmmm, we think you should buy her and Ganache, and you will have double chocolate frosting in the form of beautiful young fillies who are both potential sport horse superstars! After only 2 starts, Chocolate Frosting has made it abundantly clear to her connections that racing is not where her talent lies. so she is ready to move on to find her true calling. Her legs are clean and she is described as sound. We photographed her just a few days after she had raced, and she looked beautiful and none the worse for wear. Her handler, the trainer’s daughter, says she is still mentally immature, and gets nervous in the racing environment, but that she is a good girl to handle and has no vices. We think that Chocolate Frosting would be best suited for an experienced rider looking for a young horse with top sport horse potential, who can give her the time she needs to grow up and enjoy some turn out and get the track environment out of her head. We admired her beauty as she posed for photos. For her jog video, the handler just walked her on the busy road and did not let her trot out, but we could see good hind end engagement and signs of very good movement. Frost Giant offspring are known for being very good movers and jumpers, and we have placed many who are succeeding as event horses, jumpers, and dressage horses. Frost Giant is a son of Giant’s Causeway out of a Gone West mare, and these are two great sport/jumping sire lines. Chocolate Frosting’s dam Centrina is by Wheelaway, who is by Unbridled Song out of a Damascus mare — two more great jumping/sport horse sire lines.
