Copy Writer is close to being in the “war horse” category with 61 lifetime starts and 30 in the money finishes earning over $111,000. Any racehorse with 50% “hit the board” finishes is a racehorse that has more than earned its keep for his owners and that is certainly the case with this handsome guy. His trainer describes him as having a great, goofy personality without a mean bone in his body. He was very sweet and friendly during our photo shoot and was hitting all the volunteers up for mints. His trainer reports that he could “run all day long” and has a strong aptitude for the longer races (the longer the better she says)! This should be appealing to riders looking for eventing or endurance horses. His trainer would love to see him go to an eventing home, but he could certainly go in any number of sporting directions. He jogged quietly on a loose lead and showed nice movement for his brief pass. We think this one should appeal to many shoppers!
